Cool! i would Love Piper Cub, i have heard rumours that the Piper Pacer can be RAA registered if the max goes to 720 Kgs!

now if only i could find a Cub within my budget!

According to the july edition of the RAAus mag, Caboolture Rec. Aviationhave a L4 Piper Cub (agenuine warbird) on the RAAus register. Available for training and private hire.

me thinks things are getting a liitle out of hand. 60yr old warbird thats an ultralight, austers and birddogs next?

Here is a question that techi may be able to answer.

take for instance the L4 that is now on the register.

How is the aircraft maintained and who does the work.

For those who would like to buy a cheapCub ect. Are you willing to fork out big bucks to get the struts X Rayed every few years?

Hi

Since I know the operation and have flown in their a/c, their aircraft are maintained by a LAME and have a very close relationship with the warbird museum.

The Mighty Hunter

The Hunter is an Australian variant of the American Carlson Sparrow (see the Skytek website) built here by Lake Macquarie Aviation. Unfortunatley the breed didnt progress. She is a very plane to fly, very forgiving, with a cruise of 70 Knts. From the profime you can see a Piper Tripacer.
