BurnieM Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Zero information in the boards 'statement'. Why bother making it (apart from ongoing pressure from members).

facthunter Posted March 14 Posted March 14 SAAA aren't very Pro RAAus at any time and don't get involved with Issuing licences. Likely just be another "Rumour mill". You were worried about Your Liability as a member/ shareholder Primarily as I recall.. Nev

RAAus hierarchy were formally invited to attend SAAA Fly In, if they don’t turn up? That will be interesting.

There is a lot of historical bad blood 🤢 Which I find sad……. Maybe there needs to be big changes for RAA to move forward in a positive light?

facthunter Posted March 20 Posted March 20 KR That's why I said "IF" BM any person aware of a matter adversely affecting aviation safety HAS to report it to CASA. by law. Nev 1
onetrack Posted March 20 Posted March 20 I believe there's only so much one can do, to stop an arrogant, overconfident pilot from killing themselves - and their pax. The outrageous and dangerous piloting behaviour of the Metroliner pilot involved in the Lockhart River disaster was reported to CASA, and CASA did absolutely nothing, as regards lifting Brett Hotchin's pilots licence. Any other "safety authority" in any other country, would have been sued to the nth degree, and the "authority" dismantled, if the Metroliner disaster happened in that country. 1 1
