Blueadventures Posted October 15, 2022 Posted October 15, 2022 (edited) Media is reporting an accident at Childers airfield in Queensland and pilot taken to hospital. No further info known at this time. Anyone have more details? Edited October 15, 2022 by Blueadventures
onetrack Posted October 15, 2022 Posted October 15, 2022 The crash occurred at 8:12AM and the pilot was rushed to hospital with suspected back injuries. It appears that local Police were not involved, so hopefully the pilots injuries are not too serious. 1
FlyingVizsla Posted October 16, 2022 Posted October 16, 2022 Can't find a news report that isn't behind a paywall. What was conveyed to me third hand - one of our Club members had an undercarriage collapse on landing in his ultralight - other members were there to assist - he was taken to hospital. I can't add much more than that. 2
