lyle janke Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 hi all who has recently up-graded the jabiru brakes to the latest jabiru offering ? what are you thoughts /experience after up-grade post your thoughts lyle
SilverHammer Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 2007 J230D brakes replaced with the MK3 upgrade in September 2022. Original brake cylinders and discs corroded. Jabiru offered a discounted upgrade kit as an alternative to replacing parts. The kit went on relatively easily, adequate instructions and illustrations were available, but not in one place. Much better and simpler design, performs better. Care was needed to minimise piston travel when installing . Non genuine stainless disks are available, and if operating coastal, I would consider these. Max.

SilverHammer Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 Skycraft in the UK, and there's another. Try using Google.
facthunter Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 Expect stainless to have less grip in the wet, especially if they are not grooved. Nev 1
