My interest is in the quality of support from Edge in Norway, parts, responses to questions, warranty available. I'm trying to assess the longer term differences between owning a Edge/Rotax vs a 912 Rotax injected or a 914 Rotax
Rubidor Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 We had ours built by Edge from a new core, product quality is excellent as is support and backup, runs turbine smooth, no real increase in cruise but gets off faster and climbs like a homesick angel.
RFguy Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 (edited) I think the carburetted turbo 914 is a bit of a dog's breakfast, all sorts of carby compensation it has to do etc, and all the downsides of a carb... I think the turbo with EFI is a much better solution. It's one reason I didnt buy a relatively cheap 914 offered to me. But, people who have them are quite happy with them.
