It is only certified for Recreational and Experimental built aircraft & the Mode S ADSB Out module costs about 2K US plus installation.

I wouldn’t swear to this but I am sure I received a Dynon communication stating now available for certified aircraft! Mine is of course experimental! Garfly Posted February 23, 2023 Posted February 23, 2023 So, it seems like this new Microair is the first available low cost solution to having a proper transponder, i.e enabling an RAAus aircraft to operate in Class E and, presumably, if the time ever comes, to enter and/or transit Class C & D? Is that right?
