I recently started getting strange ads about funerals, cremations.. 🙂

I suspect visiting this and similar accidents-related forums, and knowing that our phones/computers send more data about our interests and habbits, that will trigger the algorithms and start showing the aforementioned ads.

To fix this, you will need to clear the cache and cookies from your browser 🙂

Just install Adblock or Adblock Plus, and Ghostery. They both remove a lot of annoying ads and can be tailored/adjusted in their settings.

Also, do not agree to cookies unless you know the site is user-friendly as regards targeting you for ads or spam. The newspaper sites are the worst.

I have resisted paying for YouTube subscription which claims to remove ads. Has anyone done it, and does it?

I have a premium subscription, worth every cent. Only ads are those presented by the creator, example Trent Palmer will talk about square space in his videos.

Yes, just install Adblock. I've used it for years and it works really well. It's free but I give donations because it's so good.
