G'day All,  I wanted to gauge opinions/ recommendations WRT to the Davewood Syndicate currently operating the A32. Im merely doing my research and don't want this to turn into a Jabiru V's Rotax argument just interesting in hearing from current or former members to assist with decision making.

Thanks everyone in advance for any assistance.

I was involved in the Davewood syndicate, but not for a number of years now.

Was back when they operated a red Foxbat 24-4333 and before that a white Foxbat.

At the time the syndicate suited me fine.

Had no problems whatsoever.

The syndicate was run very well.

They had been running the syndicate for a long time before I was involved.

Not answering the question I know, but yesterday I heard that the foxbat lot are not effected by the war and they now have a spare parts operation based in Poland.

In 2016 my old man and I bought their Foxbat 24-8118, as they upgraded to a Vixxen. Great aircraft. Records and ADs were all in order, and we had no issues bar the usual things that pop up over time (e.g. Rotax carb floats).

Then in a bit of symmetry, last year we upgraded to a new Vixxen, and have been loving that too. Last shipment before the invasion, but they restarted production quickly. Great to see them producing again at a solid rate (8 a month worldwide I think I saw?)

Thanks Rocket for replying I very much appreciate it, so no negatives to report ? Happy to talk away from this forum if that is easier. Thanks again

110 knots is easy, at only 5100rpm,  I haven't tried fine tuning things. I have been focussed on learning to use the autopilot. They advertise 115 kts, but that probably needs 5300 rpm I guess.

I did see it noted at 115 knts. I thought hmmm, I wonder what it actually gets?

I would be very happy with 110kts.
