spacesailor
As it's Raa caturgary , I didn't think it would be 20,000 to 40,000 feet hight to get icing !. BUT The answer leaves a lot of worry , if the " moisture content " of the air gets as high as Darwin . With no tempreture equation involved . spacesailor Edited March 2, 2023 by spacesailor
facthunter
Yes it's very dry at high altitudes unless you're near a Cb cloud. Highest humidity is in Tropical Maritime air masses In those conditions you could expect airframe icing at FL 180 approx. Carb icing at 25 degrees. ambient. IF you get that question again. I'm sure you'll get it right. It was a trick question. Nev
