red750 Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 People have asked if there is an index to the aircraft profiles. The answer is "No." The profiles are divided into categories, and are listed alphabetically in those categories. So select the appropriate category and scroll through the list. Alternatively, you can use the Search function in the blue title bar of the site. Select Aircraft from the site menu bar. Enter the aircraft name in the box and click on the magnifying glass icon. The search will return 4 results, because it lists every occurrence the the word Musketeer in content or comments. Scroll through the results to find your profile. If there are too many results, underneath the search result heading, it will offer additional choices to redo the search. Click on "Musketeer in content titles only" to reduce the results. This wll ignore any profiles where the words Beechcraft and Musketeer are referenced in the body of the profile. Clicking on "The phrase beechcraft musketeer" will not locate it because the profile title is "Beechcraft Model 23 Musketeer". Remember, many aircraft share a model name. There are numerous aircraft named Phantom or Vampire, etc., so 2 or 3 level searches may be required. Also, the same aircraft may have different names when it is built under licence by other constructors or through take-over/merger. eg. Canadair/Bombardier, American/Grumman, Ted Smith/Piper etc.
