walrus Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Anyone think that the Minister for Qantas has the slightest interest in GA and recreational aviation? I do not. ''I wouldn't be surprised if the aviation white paper sacrifices piston engined aviation to the Green zealots. Forget changes to medical certification, weights and regulations. If anything, they may become more severe in my opinion.
spacesailor Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 Shouldn't the ' fuel burn ' be more important than just " piston " engine ! . I mean , a Cessna six cylinder has better fuel economy than that same ' airframe ' running a " turboprop " engine . ( Ltrs er hour. ) . spacesailor 1
walrus Posted August 30, 2023 Author Posted August 30, 2023 Spaceman, wash your mouth out! You are talking facts and logic. That doesn't apply to the Greens.
spenaroo Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 Im assuming CASA has the same brief as the previous ministers gave. "keep it out of the newspapers"
facthunter Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 CASA don't do the investigating as they may be a part of what's being investigated. if circumstances dictated. Opposing one wouldn't look good either Nev
