spacesailor Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Yes . I got that one some time ago . Then was asked for more " hands on " information. That was from an administration officer, who only has ' big ' plane dealings. He wanted a " look-see ' at were he/they shouldn't tie a pull rope , W7hen dragging a ' wreak ' to safety. A little out of the loop nowadays, So, wondered if at an airshow , could an invite to SES / fireless, spacesailor

One would have to say yes, at least in the case of Cirrus. Will I fit a chute to my plane? No. The Preston Beach, WA, prang of a Aeropilot Legend deploying the chute may stir this debate a little more. Given the occupants thankfully walked away from it, and this maybe the very first RA-Aus chute deployment, let the debate rage on ! Supposedly (and surprisingly) it has been suggested the ATSB will investigate - at least I hope more details of the circumstances come out so that we can all learn from this incident. 1
danny_galaga Posted April 18 Author Posted April 18 Maybe they are investigating because it's a novel accident for Australia?
Thruster88 Posted April 18 Posted April 18 Maybe they are investigating it because the vertical stabilizer broke off. I would want to know how that happened. 2 3 1
Freizeitpilot Posted April 19 Posted April 19 Must have been one heck of a bird strike if that is what caused it. A pelican could do it perhaps. 1
