kiwiaviator Posted July 9 Posted July 9 FAA info forwarded by CAA NZ today https://mailchi.mp/3371403d6bc0/faa-safo-24004-ads-b-transmitter-anomalies-with-uavionix-tailbeacon-or-skybeacon-ads-b-978-mhz-universal-access-transmitters-uat?e=6b92037bbf
RFguy Posted July 9 Posted July 9 hmm because they retained their old transponder and didnt wire up the blanking wire to the transponder ?????
RFguy Posted July 9 Posted July 9 Maybe the blanking logic doesnt work or something, but I'd expect the blanking isnt connected etc, or blanking signals not compatible.. Uavionix seem to know what they're doing, having had direct conversations with their chief of engineering. 1
