And now for something a little different at TIAT

Fan-bloody-tastic.

I remember seeing the Mig29 OVT display and thinking yea thats pretty unbeatable, but when yo take the aircraft used into account this performance is right up there with the fighter jockey's stuff

Bob Hoover's routine is more planned.   The main thing I'd be concerned about with this demo is overstressing the Airframe, particularly the T tail and effect of negative "G" on the fuel and oil systems, A beyond vertical  banked turn is not hard to do but it cannot be sustained. Nev

Pilots can do all that in a cessna 150 at a fraction of the cost.

It's a video clip that popped up on FB. Maybe not everyone has seen it. I thought it was interesting that he bounced it on the road, intentionally he said, before landing. What's your beef?

Blimey! It has been years since I have been to a RIAT... and still is one of the best airshows I have seen. My daughter was born in late July so I always had to go to parties my partner mysteriously schedule on RIAT weekend.

Was present at the show that year and I've yet to see this dispaly beat for shear manouvrabilty displayed, though as I tried to say before its part pilot ability and part what the aircraft is capable of performing  and structuraly withstanding
