nblight Posted August 8 Posted August 8 Currently planning a flying trip next year from Adelaide to Alice Springs and looking at suggestions for interesting places to visit on the way. Current plan is Adelaide, ceduna, Coober Pedy, Ayer’s rock, Alice, Birdsville, Wilpena. obviously go over lake eyre as we go. any suggestion for interesting strips or accomodation along the way? looking to take between 8 and 10 days. bushcaddy105 Posted August 11 Posted August 11 Arkaroola is worth considering - spectacular landscapes, but do it in winter or early morning. In summer the turbulence can be scary. The resort will pick you up from the airstrip if staying overnight. 1 1
