red750 Posted August 28 Posted August 28 From Spotter Magazine: Australia never seems to run out of brave entrepreneurs trying their luck in the domestic air travel market. With the demise of Bonza and Rex, enter Koala Airlines. Although few details are known about the Melbourne-based carrier, the proposed airline already has a website up and running, a full management team in place, and the all-important Air Operators Certificate. Koala Airlines is hoping to commence Boeing 737 MAX 8 operations shortly. 1
Freizeitpilot Posted August 28 Posted August 28 I hope they have deep pockets. I wonder who’s financing them ?
red750 Posted August 28 Author Posted August 28 We know that, but they are regularly called that to scare the tourists. 2

WIngsWithoutBarriers Posted September 10 Posted September 10 People are giving up/mocking on koala even before they started flying. I think it's still worth a go as there might be something even we didn't think about. Even Stefan Drury covered it a few days ago. But the max might be a bit big to start off thou. Maybe a E190 or E170 might be a good starting point and are more comfortable than a 737 with leg room wise (going off my experience with air north)
