red750 Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 From Spotter Magazine: Â Australia never seems to run out of brave entrepreneurs trying their luck in the domestic air travel market. With the demise of Bonza and Rex, enter Koala Airlines. Â Although few details are known about the Melbourne-based carrier, the proposed airline already has a website up and running, a full management team in place, and the all-important Air Operators Certificate. Koala Airlines is hoping to commence Boeing 737 MAX 8 operations shortly. Â Â Â Â Â 1
Freizeitpilot Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 I hope they have deep pockets. I wonder who’s financing them ?
red750 Posted August 28, 2024 Author Posted August 28, 2024 We know that, but they are regularly called that to scare the tourists. 2

WIngsWithoutBarriers Posted September 10, 2024 Posted September 10, 2024 People are giving up/mocking on koala even before they started flying. I think it's still worth a go as there might be something even we didn't think about. Even Stefan Drury covered it a few days ago. But the max might be a bit big to start off thou. Maybe a E190 or E170 might be a good starting point and are more comfortable than a 737 with leg room wise (going off my experience with air north)Â Â Â
