Naaa! Still looking for the chests to pin the wings on😈

Sorry if I offend - not big on "look at me" ostentatious displays - next it will uniforms, rank epaulets, etc - What's wrong with a nice certificate,  you can frame & hang on your wall at home?

It may be a tad hard for some to reolise, most of us are just amature/recreational pilots not "Top Guns"

I have both.

Bernie.

Wings are for military aviators , to be worn with their service uniform.😈

Hehe, I sometimes wear a military Growbag  simply because it prevents cold drafts up my back, I dgaf how it looks tbh but usually have a hoodie on over the top of it so not very top gun

Can't the North Koreans supply something suitable? They seem to have a great homespun industry, providing medals, wings, and other glittery adornments, all designed to impress!

They have great Hats...really Big Ones and silly marches to rival the Russkies

What happened to the old "if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all"

Each to their own...

There are pilot wings in silver & gold on this site - see "Our Shop" and search for Wings (go to page 3).  Ready to engrave or stick a logo on.  Ian might be able to do a deal for bulk purchase.  Profits go back to running this site.

why am I even here. FFS....

Ouch.

I think its best to regard any forum as a gathering of people with some shared interest who can often offer advice and reccomendations but as we are all human its natural that opinions, humour and thread drift will occur.

Regarding it as just an information service will I fear lead to dissappointment.

I have always  worn my " Air Training Corps " badge with pride .

It has an 'eagle ' with 'wings' in it images.jpeg.98e82f63e4a90519dddb4bb46096a465.jpeg

Didn't get far through. " Medically unfit. " .

Looks exactly like the Air Training Corps badge we all wore on our berets in the UK during 70's 80's.

I dont know what the current badge looks like as they've renamed (dumbed down) the name of the organisation to "Air Cadets"

Yes it. Was my beret ( cap ) badge . I never did get a uniform as I had to wear short pants for my ' leg-irons ' to fit , .

I have a picture somewhere,  standing out of my ' troop ' . as I wasn't allowed to march with them , in shorts .
