Thruster88 Posted Monday at 09:02 PM Posted Monday at 09:02 PM Perhaps this is why BrendAns instructor said not to use the centre of the runway.🤔 If only the hapless pilots friend had said something like, "see that cessna with the big flaps that you are rapidly catching, he might exit on the left at A3. Pass on the right like you have been trained to do". The numerous cracks in the instrument panel was unusual.
facthunter Posted Monday at 10:53 PM Posted Monday at 10:53 PM Don't get yourself into such a situation in the first place.. Passing on the right refers to when you are in the air, not playing dodgems on a sealed runway. Nev 1 1

onetrack Posted Tuesday at 08:41 AM Posted Tuesday at 08:41 AM The way the aircraft was bouncing around on final looked like enough reason to do a go-around to me. But what would I know, I wasn't there, and who knows what pressure the pilot was under. He probably thought a cabin fire was going to break out any minute, and it was imperative to get on the ground. 1

Then put it down on the grass next to the main runway 1
