I just bought a J230-SP and the POH is lacking compared to the D model POH. My concerns are that it actually has bad info in it. It has best glide at 80 kias vs D model (and previous model J250-SP) at 65 kias. Other things are suspect as well. I know the tail had some redesign on the D but don’t see how that would cause such a drastic difference. Anyone have any knowledge on the subject?

Is it possible that the POH is in miles per hour, not knots? Regardless, contact the factory directly. They’ll sort it quickly.

Probably best to email your Serial No to the factories.

A lot of different versions, improvements were introduced at that time.

Is the 230-SP handbook genuine and original from Jabiru Australia? (not from elsewhere?)

Go Texas, y'all. Spent a few days in El Paso, and a month in Houston airport one day not long ago on way to Oshkosh.

The SP I know  is a very different beast from a 230C or 230D.

Ask the factory for specifics for your SN aircraft

What year built ?

What is the MTOW that it is  placarded  for ?

sure it is  a "230SP"    not a "SP" or "SP470 "?

oh its a USA airplane. ask Nick, the local factory rep.  There were a few different naming differences in different regions.

between legs throttle or panel throttle ? header tank under seat or beyond rear bulkhead ?

what wingspan ? how deep chord ? 1m ? what tail width? winglets ? what max flap angle setting (measure) ?  what width between the mains? what empty weight ?
