IanR
Rick, we went in the Australian Light Aircraft Championships there - they had a number of different events including the formation flying. Others included spot landing, forced landing, streamer cutting and aerobatics. The unfortunate thing was that the rules only allowed VH registered aircraft to participate - I raised that with one of the officials - may be changed for next years event (in WA). Hope so - more the merrier !!
rick-p
Ian, that's interesting because if it be the case that they do change the rules to allow RAA aircraft to participate then attendance at the event could be included in a good x-country from where I stand and a nice flying holiday to boot. Of course the events that RAA aircraft could enter, because of our restrictions, would see some events out of our reach but still you would only compete in the Collabri type events (if that's how you spell it). Please keepus posted as to the progress if any, thanks. Regards, Rick-p
