Guest milton56
I just purchased (well a few months ago) my new Savannah in kit form. It is evidently the 100th sold in Australia. I am currently taking lots of photos during the construction, and if anyone considering building the Savannah would like the pics, I would gladly send them. regards to all Milton:thumb_up:
Deskpilot
G'day Milton, congrates on taking the first step, which is more than the majority of us will take. I'm sure we all wish you good luck and have fun in your building time. I'm also sure that everyone would be interested in your progress so how about posting your diary and photos. Finally got my strip here in Hawaii fenced and graded and fly the 65 miles from Hilo where I live to Naalehu where I work. You and your boys sure are going to love flying around in your ADV!! bill.beard
Martin, What is the configuration of your instrument panel? Bill
Guest landmann
Eric Giles built me a complete new panel and instaslled it out in the field here in Hawaii. He did a great job and he could probably email you a drawing. Basically from left to right. Master, mags, throttle, electric flaps, choke, carb heat. I have electric trim, radio and transponder switches and ptt on Ray Allen stick grip. In the center is my dynon efis. Off to the right radio and transponder then engine gauges, and cabin heat. Above the windshield eric mounted me a moving map gps and there are the toggle switches for strobes, navigation fuel pump and avionics master. I can work my electric flaps with forefinger while operating throttle. Adjust trim with my thumb on stick. It is a real neat set up. Guest milton56
Gday BILL, The panel is standard as issued by icp, I have added a Micro air radio and most likely fit a turn coordinator as well. Regards Milton

Guest milton56
Still more pics, The fuselage being built, and as you can see I'm building the plane on the crate that the kit came in. The crate is covered with a bubble type insulation and acts as a protection mat for the parts being assembled. All parts are Alodined and then sprayed with an etch primer.
