Hi Everyone,

Signed up after stumbling across the site, looks to have a good amount of useful info..

I'm getting back into flying ( slowly ) after a long hiatus from a little GA flying.

Welcome Ron-C to this forum. What are you flying or contemplating flying these days? Where are you flying from? Do you have an aeroclub of supportive aviators?

Hi Cazza,

I'm doing my conversion with Secure Air Flight Training, originally at Wallan, now at Locksley. I'm under the tender care of Sue Ward, who is an excellent instructor.

The training is being done in their Technam P92. Once I have my Pilots Certificate, I intend to have a go at the Texan 600, when they have 1 available, on x-hire.( soon I hope:keen: )

She now feels confident enough in my rusty abilities, that I'm to give Nathan Muller ( CFI ) a fright ;) in a little over a weeks time.

As far as I'm aware Cazza, there's no Club associated with the school.

Whilst I'm here, I'd also like to thank Mark Robinson ( mark689 on the Forums ) who I've known for awhile, for introducing me to Recreational Aircraft late last year, as I'd been unaware of just how delightful, & affordable ( for a bloke on wages ) they are to fly 011_clap.gif.c796ec930025ef6b94efb6b089d30b16.gif

Cheers,

Ron.
