Sapper
Hello there. I have been a member for a little while but this is my first post (I was being reminded about my absence of a post every time I logged on so I thought I'd better comply). I qualified for my PPL almost 40 years ago (so I'm in the wrinkled and grey class) but having finished with mortgages and raising a family, I have begun to renew my interest in flying after a long absence by relearning to fly in recreational aircraft. I was certainly rusty but have managed to solo again. I have been impressed by recreational aviation and the friendliness of the people you meet at the strip and I hope to seek your experience in the future particularly in relation to purchasing an aircraft. Mathew Ker
Congratulations on going solo again after a long absence . If you've been a member on these forums for a while without posting, you'll know that there are many who are only too willing to share an opinion (even their own! ;)) regarding training, flying, buying etc. Great to hear some older people taking up the wings again. Regards, Mathew

Sapper
Hello Neil - I started in an Allegro 2000 but am now learning in a Tecnam Golf. I'd like to try the school Drifter but am too heavy.
