Guest Redair
Greetings each, I seek advice from anyone who might have installed wingtip strobes onto their Savannah. I have bought a set, (aeroflash, if it is of importance) and wish to know how and where the control units have been fitted. Is it OK to place them inside the wingtip cover, (concerned about weight/handling issues) or should they be mounted inboard, and the wires to the strobes extended? Also, are there any issues with attachment points? That is to say, will drilling mounting holes in the wing ribs or other structures, cause weakness or stress problems? Regards, Redair. markendee
Redair, The mate mounted his power units on a plate cut into the tip. He can remove the plate and withdraw the unit for maintenance. - works well. Mark

Guest Redair
Thanks Mark, that will be a great help. Do you know if your mate has noticed any handling differences with the extra weight out at the wing tips? Redair.
