CHANGE OF DATES FOR AVALON AIRSHOW IN 2009

For the info of forum members, below is a copy of an email I have just received.

 

Dear Airshow Supporter,

 

Please be advised that, because of circumstances beyond our control, we have had to change the dates of next years Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition.

 

The new dates for Avalon 2009 will be Tuesday 10 March to Sunday 15 March 2009.

 

This change has been required because of the recent unexpected announcement that the Australian Formula One Grand Prix dates had been changed to late March and would in fact have clashed with the long standing previously published dates for Avalon 2009.

 

Attached is a copy of a media release in relation to the change of dates.

 

We apologise for any inconvenience which has been caused as a result of these unexpected circumstances which are completely beyond our control. We suggest you ensure that any arrangements with travel and accommodation bookings are adjusted in accordance with the new dates as soon as possible.

 

The 2009 event promises to be the most exciting and spectacular show we have staged at Avalon to date. Its theme will be Towards Tomorrow and it will celebrate the 40th Anniversary of mans first landing on the moon. It will be an event that should not be missed!
