MrH Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 G'day all, Been hanging around for a while reading all the good, bad & ugly of flying powered aircraft. I flew gliders for a while until personal circumstances changed but that was 27 years ago. A friend took me for a flight in his Jabiru LS55 January this year - it got me thinking. So here I am, 2 lessons down, a landing & take off unassisted (very poor mind) & heading into a week plus spell of training to try & get myself to solo. I'm finding the controls heavy (especially the rudder compared to a glider) & this throttle thing has me tossed, especially the nose up stuff!! Anyway, see what the next couple of weeks bring - hope the weather hangs in for me:big_grin: Cheers H
