G'day,

 

Just thought I'd put some photos on, of the Amberley air show that was on this weekend.....

 

Also I thought it would be nice too, if someone else also went to the show, if they would like to add some of there photos, that way we can share to those that couldn't get to go what is was a bit like.......:big_grin: Just an Idea:idea:...

 

Here is a very few of my collection of photos..... I thought the airshow was Awesome, and my favorite bits were the the 4.9m wingspan Pitts, the Castrol fella, Matt Hall's aerobatic demonstration, the F111 dump and burn, and the Awsome F18 Hornets:thumb_up:...... What was your favorite bit....

I went on Saturday, it was great. These are my thoughts.

 

BEST: Matt Hall in the Giles was just awesome (Highlight for me), Pitts was good, F-18’s and Hawk were great, F-18 formation was perfect, F-18 doing 550 kts over the crowd at 200 feet and pulling up to 30,000 feet was awesome as well.

 

AVERAGE: Pip ‘Boreing’ in his Edge was again boreing (same old routine, some old tricks), come on Pip, you have a nice plane, do something different.

 

AVERAGE: Dump and burn (same old routine, subsonic flight with a fuel tap turned on. Was Pip flying it?).

 

All in all it was a great show. Static displays were also excellent.

Went for a quick fly here today at Taree and taxied past the black CT-4F and the Giles 202 parked near the tarmac.

 

Just after that the HARS Neptune turned up!

 

I think he had to back into his parking space to allow the REX Saab to come in.

 

Neptune still here tonight.
