motzartmerv Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 yea, some good advice there. Ur instructor is the guy to ask all the questions of.. Don't be in to big a hurry to grasp evrything..concerntrate on the next step ie lesson 2, ... but most importantly, have fun mate... cheers
Guest Cralis Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 Thanks all. Yeah, going through the training manual now. Loads of it seems geared at PPL stuff as opposed to RA. Also, all aircraft differ. They refer to the differential breaking a lot, where we just have thew central stick for breaking both wheels ot once. So, I'm gonna have a large list for my instructor on the 1st! (My next lesson: Straight and Level flight)
shags_j Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 All of this sounds like making the transitional from heavier aircrat (c172's etc) to the little jab's etc seem a little more difficult than I first thought. Looking forward to that first flight now...
