Thx1137 Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 YouTube - Tigermoth hits a cow during landing on a field
Barefootpilot Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 Now that is an impressive video he did a great job to only hit the cow!
brilin_air Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 Oh poor cow. Someone give the cow Slater and Gordons phone number please. -Linda
pylon500 Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 he did a great job to only hit the cow Considering how soon after takeoff they headed for the field, I would say there must have been some form of engine problem. Watching that, I think She did a good job missing the pole, the gravel road and the fence at the end of the paddock. Just bad luck about the cow I guess. :ah_oh: Arthur.
Guest Maj Millard Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Hey Adam, how you doing, don't know if you heard already but Pete pranged the Tiger a few days ago at Shute. Just off the runway and hit one of those bloody concrete culvets that we have all been worried about. Last I heard he's in Adelaide looking at another one Cheers Ross.
Barefootpilot Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 I hadn't heard not good at least he walked away from it. Yeah that airpark is going to be an interesting strip!
Yenn Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 Did this really happen? To see a cow, which probably weighs 600kg rolled up and knocked around as much as that one appears to be would have just about demolished any part of a Tiger Moth.
turboplanner Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 Think you're right Ian, I wonder if this is going to be an Ad for a milk product???
Barefootpilot Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 I would say it probably only just hit its head thats why it fell over so well. Or it could all be CGI stuff!
BigPete Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 The cow took a dive!:big_grin::big_grin: regards
