Considering how soon after takeoff they headed for the field, I would say there must have been some form of engine problem.

 

Watching that, I think She did a good job missing the pole, the gravel road and the fence at the end of the paddock.

 

Just bad luck about the cow I guess. :ah_oh:

Hey Adam, how you doing, don't know if you heard already but Pete pranged the Tiger a few days ago at Shute. Just off the runway and hit one of those bloody concrete culvets that we have all been worried about. Last I heard he's in Adelaide looking at another one Cheers Ross.

Did this really happen? To see a cow, which probably weighs 600kg rolled up and knocked around as much as that one appears to be would have just about demolished any part of a Tiger Moth.
