Ah yes the foolishness of youth ......... Nice flight that one, much quieter than normal. designed to be a fuel conservation measure.

 

Pleased to report, in order to preserve the confidence of the traveling public at large, big balls now considerably smaller and mellowed with age.

i have a cert 582 wb & weigh 118kgs i just get in & fly it will amaze u what it will carry

I'm about 110kg with a wire brace 582 and no problems with C of G and speed, great little machine.

Out of curiosity: How does the passenger affect CoG? Being under the wing I imagine it doesn't affect it much.

it just takes a bit more runway i cant tell you in print what i put in the back but it truley is a great little machine

Im about 98 - 102 and my 503 Drifter flys darn well. But I am going to try and get a 582 or 532 w/ E Box and get a lil more power. Two up she doesnt like it much when you have someone that is over 80kgs in the back. I dont need much trim though, only about 1/3. It used to be Wayne Fishers so I wonder how he went training in it.
