If you want to see some crazy nutters in Xairs, see this.

YouTube - Micro Air Racing

It's been around on Youtube a while.

Can you imagine the RAA's reaction if this was in Australia? ;>

"Umm, yes Mr Smith. We saw your video. Now, can you give us a reason why your pilot license shouldn't be revoked, your house burnt down, and your teeth kicked in, BEFORE we have you drawn and quartered?"006_laugh.gif.0f7b82c13a0ec29502c5fb56c616f069.gif

What a sight! There's a right hander in there where there ain't a lot of daylight between wingtip and ground!

More ticks for the 'ol x-air - wouldn't have thought they'd be up to the task, but I stand corrected.

if you did it on your own propety there is not much "they" could do about it.

even if it was someone else property all you need is written permission to fly low.

Middo gets wound up over low level flying. waves his arms and everything.

Does he do that while chasing the low level fliers?

That would be a sight ;>

I saw an x-air have an engine failure on take off a couple of years back, in nil wind and at about 200ft the pilot was able to do a full 360 deg turn and land back on the runway in the direction he started in with height to spare.

I get to fly a Rotax 582 powered XAir.

It needs to be pointed out so that other XAir pilots don`t get the idea that this is the right and safe thing to do,This is extremely dangerous in any aircraft, at that altitude.

At 200 feet it should be,"LAND STRAIGHT AHEAD OR 30 DEGREES TO THE RIGHT OR LEFT".
