I've starting using Nokia Sports Tracker available here:

Sports Tracker | Nokia Research Center

using my Nokia N95 to track a couple of flights,

I not long completed a nav from Morrabbin to Ballarat via Point Cook and Bacchus Marsh. After completing the flight you can export the track in Google Earth format.

Anyhow here's the file:

Have fun

From yesterdays flight. The sports tracker gives you an idea of where you've been. It works much better on the ground than in the air, I'm pretty sure that's only due to speed and signal strength.

I did have the phone in my pocket though, if it was up somewhere that the GPS can get a better signal then I reckon it would've had a much better track.

The yellow track is what the N95 SportsTracker mapped out, the thin line in red is pretty much where we actually went and did. You can see the airport at the "Finish" point, I have no idea why it says we started in the ocean.
