eightyknots Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Hi everyone at this very interesting forum. I am Hank, an Australian presently living in New Zealand. After having lived many years very close to Schofields aerodrome in Sydney and watching many people fly every weekend, I have always wished to learn to fly myself. Additionally, I am interested in constructing my own plane. It's great to be here and you'll 'see' some more of me in the forums in the future. Best wishes, Hank.
eightyknots Posted December 3, 2008 Author Posted December 3, 2008 I am looking forward to being in touch with rec flyers in OZ and NZ.
farri Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 The Best. Hank, I`m glad to say I`ve done both,I started flying back in the mid eighties by building a copy of a Chinook WT2,from scratch then learning to fly it. For me, it was the best thing I ever did and I`ve done some pretty high adrenalin pumping things, every time I flew that aircraft I was overawed by what I`d done. I hope you can have a similar experience. Cheers, Frank.
