motzartmerv Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 I don't think its got much to do with RAA guidelines.. we all should follow the same rules.. You speak of things being simpler and black and white, i think muddying the waters with different rules for diff types, weights, cruise speeds etc would only grey the whole thing up even more.. That being said, i dont think ive ever met an RAA pilot who out of pure commen sence and courtecy, wouldn't get out of the way of bigger guys, especially RPT. (that doesn't mean they don't exist) because lets face it, no-one wants to get run over by a dash 8.. But i spose this would only be possible if correct and timely calls were given, which doesn't always happen, hence the thread starters query's. Ag pilots operate in a differnet world to us (usually) and thats down on the deck, i wouldn't be to concerned about one running me over, however knowing they are around would be nice...;)
