Guest Kevin the Penniless Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Hi. I cannot see how to post a new message without creating a new thread so that's what I've done. Anyway, I have a private pilot licence (about 200 hours) but haven't flown for 10 years. I want to get back into flying and am thinking of buying a plane, most probably a Jabiru. Still need to nut out where i'd keep the thing, Gawler would be best as Parafield charge too much.
Captain Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Welcome Kev. You are in good company here, penny-wise.

Deskpilot Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 G'day Kevin, to the 'Penniless Club' not sure how many members we have at the moment but the number might have gone up since the financial crash. As to where you fly, depends to some amount on where you live, but more so on what aircraft you want to fly. A longer drive to Murray Bridge puts me into a Jabiru although Aldinga is just down the road, but they don't have the Jabbi and they charge more for their more sophisticated a/c. Where ever you go, enjoy getting back into the air mate, and keep it safe.
