Guest brentc Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 I can fill you in on this in it's entirety, but perhaps it is a little soon. If you desperately need to know why, who and how, please PM me. It was a 172.

Admin Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 I was surprised that there was no mention of the incident at the time.Pud Crikey Mate...give me a break, it was Christmas morning and I was spending it with my kids and their presents from under the tree. You posted at 12:18pm yet the first post I put up was 2 hrs earlier at 10:10am: http://www.recreationalflying.com/forum/australian-aviation-news/20504-one-dead-vic-plane-crash.html and the accident only happened 1.5hrs earlier
pudestcon Posted December 26, 2008 Author Posted December 26, 2008 My comment wasn't a criticism of you Ian, this site or anything in particular; rather a reflection on the speed and quality of reporting in this forum - kudos to everyone involved especially you for this Ian. My understanding here is that we all contribute (mind you my contribution to date has only been of a minor kind) to this site to make it what it is. As I live in WA (Wait Awhile) and found the article in the Western Australian Newspaper online it was indeed surprising to not find mention of it here as a post by one of the other members. I would certainly not begrudge you spending time with your family Ian, at any time, not just Christmas. All the best. Pud
Admin Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 Pud, perhaps I worded my post a bit hard - sorry
pudestcon Posted December 26, 2008 Author Posted December 26, 2008 Ahhh Ian, It's just the power of the written word and the way uneducated people like me writ it!!! Cheers, Pud
