PM Bigglesworth when he gets back on line in a week or so. From his description he's done it, good with electronics.

A couple of things. Depending on your Transceiver (comms) you might have a music input. That will make it easy and cut out music when there is traffic.

Alternatively you may have an intercom that has music input. That can also be used. If you have neither of above then you can use a box. If email me I can refer you to a suitable product (Ian remove if that is against policy).

One concern that you have using a car system is that you need to use a low level output. If you connect the speaker out to your plane you will probably cause damage and it will not be too the radio. If you get a radio that has a low level output (normally RCA plugs) then that can be used. Alternatively you can place resistance into the loop but this I cannot do over the net.

Check the current draw on the radio also. Some use a bit.
