Guest Pioneer200 Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 Hi ,I went to use our clubs J160 on Wednesday and upon getting out after taxiing it to near a mates hanger I noticed fuel dripping down where the right wing joins the fuselage. What had happened was last person to use the jab had fulled the tanks right up and with the jab sitting on uneven ground the fuel was draining from the left to the right tank and spilling out. Has anyone ever noticed this before with the jabs? Do the fuel tanks have an overflow that lets the fuel drain out? When we worked out what was happening we moved it so the right wing was sitting slightly higher than the left and the tanks then evened out and the leak stopped(after about 5 minutes) Someone told me this was also a problem in C150s Oh well, will make sure it sits on level ground from now on!!!:):)
