Hello All,

My name Is Hans David and I have been flying since 2004.

PPL + NQ

270 hours in the air.

Purchased an experimental Avid Flyer B model in 2007, and have been flying from my own strip since.

The Avid is perfect for Low and slow flying and much more “interesting†to fly than the Cessnas and Pipers I used to fly.

The plane lives in my hangar (called "The Barn" by my wife), and it takes me 20 minutes from sitting in front of the TV, to sitting in the plane ready for takeoff.

Sometimes it just dawns on me how lucky I am. (Very understanding wife).

Have a look at http://avidflyer.se

Gott nytt år och god jul på dig.

Yes, a friend took the pictures over the archipelago in his Glastar (http://www.glastar.se/) you can see his extended flaps in some of the pics, trying to slow down to 50 - 60kt.

The last 8 pics are a series showing me landing at my strip (you have to look closely to see it).

Tack så mycket Hans.

Wonderful to have you own strip in such attractive country. the strip does seem to have some what of a ski jump at one end.

Best of Australian wishes

Davidh
