Mazda Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Farewell to a true inspiration. She meant a lot to me and I'll never forget her.
Guest Maj Millard Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Well done Nancy, there at the beginning, a true legend, and gee I really don't think they'll name a A380 after me.
Ben Longden Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I am one of the deadset lucky people. Not only did I meet her, but did a photoshoot with her AND she sent me a personalised copy of her book "My God. Its a woman". I did the photoshoot in 97 and for one of the pix, it was her at home; in the cockpit. She jumped into the plane faster than a kid. A truly inspirational person, and one of the worlds greatest aviators. Fly in Peace Nancy-Bird. Ben
