Guest Biggles Jr Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 hey, thought i'd let you no the weather was on my side and on tuesday the 13th january i flew solo. it was my birthday and i turned 15. my uncle flew me to moruya in a cherokee six from merimbula (arrived in style) and i did 25 minutes with my instructor mark, when i asked if we were doing another circuit he said "no, you can take me back now' I GOT NERVOUS. i did three perfect circuits, i suppose flying solo on my birthday it makes me the youngest pilot in australia... for a while. it was the best day of my life so far...WHAT A HIGH! RetiredRacer Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Congratulations Ryan well done at 15 you would be the youngest but I'm at the other end of the scale, I'm 67 and I took my first lesson last week and I have 2.7 hrs total at the moment and tomorrow (weather permitting) we will be doing stalls :thumb_up: Bob
