Guest Brett Campany Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 What an amazing bloke and such a huge loss to the aviation world. Found this on YouTube, very talented pilot. YouTube - Aviation Advertiser - Tom Moon Aerobatic Pilot Keep flying Tom.....
Tomo Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 How very sad... I've seen his videos at Temora, and he certainly was a good pilot...he had a nice aircraft to... Does anyone know the particulars of what happened? The news article mentioned that it happened about half way down the airstrip, was he taking off or just doing some low level aerobatics? I'd be interested in knowing what caused it...
Matt Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 I saw Tom's displays many times and spoke with him a few times. Another great Australian aviator lost. A very sad day indeed.
Ben Longden Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Got that right. Bloody brilliant pilot. Watched him at Temora - even met the man. Huge loss to us all. Condolences to his family and friends. Ben

Yenn Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 It is a big loss for aviation but especially for me. I am doing the big trip down to Victoria and visiting relatives and friends on the way there and back. It was all centred around going to Temora Flying day in March. Now it is cancelled. Ah well, another year maybe
