moy71 Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Hello all. Just wanting to find out where best/cheapest way to get the Sydney VNC chart? Thank you kindly. cheers.
lazerin Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 You could try your local pilot shop. Otherwise, you could go straight to the source: Airservices Australia - Online Store - Aviation Charts
moy71 Posted January 30, 2009 Author Posted January 30, 2009 Been looking at the wrong places :( Thank you!
Admin Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Or you can support this site and get it from the Clear Prop shop
moy71 Posted January 30, 2009 Author Posted January 30, 2009 Or you can support this site and get it from the Clear Prop shop Bought from Clearprop to show my support. Thank you for the recommendation. Order: #385Date: 30/01/2009, 04:04 PMStatus: Payment received Unfortunately...... I accidentally chose "pickup from shop". I will contact Clearprop separately to send it to post it to me instead (and pay the appropriate fee). Cheers.
lazerin Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Or you can support this site and get it from the Clear Prop shop An even better idea.
Yenn Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 What use is a VNC chart? When they first proposed them they were shown as covering all the East coast, and Airservices still say they will eventually get North of Brisbane, but I don't think I will live long enough to see it.
moy71 Posted January 30, 2009 Author Posted January 30, 2009 For my case, I'd use it to quick-reference boundaries, airspace limits & heights, restricted/dangerous areas, CTAF frequencies, airport locations... among others.
