Merk Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 finding things a little easier went early this morning the last 2 been later in the day.Was in the air by 8 am this morning, that made for smoother flying.still very nervous, but lot better this morning
RetiredRacer Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Good on you Merk, as I only have a total 7.5 hrs up I know what you are feeling. But as each lesson comes and goes it seem to get easier but not less stressfull. Good luck with your lessons.
Guest drizzt1978 Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Took me like 15 hours before I stopped having super doper nerves!!! Was so excited!! Then i really started to learn!!
Tomo Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 G'day Merk, I will be doing my third lesson this Tuesday, looking forward to it alot... The earlier the better for smoothness, I generally start at 6.00 - 6.30, mainly for the convenience of it, but it is a lot nicer when doing circuits etc... A bit of turbulence is good though when learning to fly straight and level...it keeps you flying the thing, rather than sitting back and watching the plane fly itself. Keep it up... BTW, I haven't been nervous at all during my training, which was a shock in it self actually... It's just a great feeling...
