Guest Brett Campany Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Big thanks again to Mike_Perth for these photos, they turned out a treat! http://www.recreationalflying.com/gallery/index.php?n=759
Guest Brett Campany Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 I love this Sportcruiser, apparently there's another version coming out called the Roko which is a touch bigger. Check it out here http://www.rokoaero.com/?page=airc&rebuild=1&lang=EN
gofastclint Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Very nice looking plane, I wonder if the new one will be Jabiru tough?
Mikey_A Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 That looks like a really nice aircraft. And the airfield doesn't look to shabby either. My Father lives in Bunbury, the next time I visit him (later this year or early next) hopefully you or I (or both) will be licenced and maybe we could share some costs and go for a small trip!!! Michael.
Guest Brett Campany Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Sounds like a plan Michael, give me a yell when you get over here! I've got 2 hours of lessons left, 4.1 hours of solo then the X country & PAX endorsement so I'm hoping it'll be all done by May.
philipnz Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 CZAW have evidently been taken over by their financiers. The new company making them is here. http://www.czechsportaircraft.com/sportcruiser.html Sounds like a right kerfluffle. I know a guy that has been waiting on parts to repair accident damage since November and they won't even speak to him.
Guest Brett Campany Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 That's interesting because Bunbury has been in contact with them and ordered several bits and pieces for their Sportcruiser and they arrive later this week. I heard that the company was part owned by the Czech Mafia or something along those lines and they wanted a bigger cut. Their website has very recently changed http://www.sportcruiser.ch/products/czaw/default.htm Will have to keen an eye on it. Mind you, these guys have just kicked things off recently so maybe the take over is complete? http://www.rokoaero.com/
