Hello Doug,

 

These days I share an RV-4 with a group in Hangar 11 at Murray Bridge. Last year my wife and I went up through the centre to Katherine and then over to Kununurra, Cape Leveque, Broome down the coast and back through Kalgorlie. Chris and Andrea Malone did the trip with us in their J200.

 

I used the fly gliders,did a few competitions and some towing with a Pawnee. Then I built a Corby starlet and an RV-6 and helped a friend with his Zodiac. They are all sold now. The corby was my favourite.

I`m 45k south of Cairns NQLD,at Deeral and now that I`ve stoped farming I`ve got a choice of several strips but the main one is 600 mts long and anytime you`re up here you are welcome.

Hello Frank,

 

A couple of our club's fellows (J200, JSK, CTSW, RVs,) are planning a return trip to Karumba in July. I did the tour a couple of years ago and would not mind doing it again. If not then I might use up a few Qantas points and hire a car out of Cairns.

Hey Frank, a change is as good as a holiday they say. I seem to recall Fran worked the nursery before ?...........just doing a service on the Lightwing at the moment, and got a Gazelle to get in the air again. Soon as that's done the weather should be right, so I'll be up one weekend for sure OK............................

Believe me Ross,it`s no holiday and yes you`re correct,Frans been there for almost 11 years.

 

When you get up here,you can take my Drifter up to remember what real flying is all about. ;)
