As we remember the times we saw Pip in his Castrol Edge twisting and twirling in the sky above, we will remember him tomorrow (Friday 6th March 2009) at 10:30.

 

Pip's funeral is on Friday 6th March at 10.30 at the catholic church in Shepp.

 

To make parking easy, the aero club is having a bus from the Airport car park from about 9.30.

Hundreds of mourners are expected to farewell Shepparton stunt pilot Peter "Pip" Borrman at his funeral today.

 

He was killed in a plane crash last Wednesday.

 

Shepparton police are urging motorists to cooperate with them to reduce congestion during the funeral.

 

Leading Senior Constable Craig Brauman says the service at St Brendan's Church in Knight Street will be big.

 

"We're going to have a traffic plan in place for the funeral, but if people haven't got any business or they can avoid the Knight Street area between 10:30am and 12:00pm that would be great," he said.

 

"It would just help us to ease the traffic congestion around the funeral."

I to was absolutely blown away when I heard of Pips accident.

 

I,ve been following his progress with the Samson for some time now, and after reading a flight review of it in the Australian Aviation mag My wife and I were looking forward to going down to Avalon to see them both do their routine.
