Check your RAAus renewal dates

Last year i just happened to be going thru my Lazairs paperwork and found that the rego had lapsed by a week or two and i had not received the paperwork, sorted that out after a few attempts. wont happen again i was told. yesterday i received a final notice for membership renewal. i had never received the first one. again i am a few weeks uncovered. Could be a postal fault. these two occassions are not the first time as it has happened before several years ago. Not going to flame anyone but it is getting a bit over the top especially when the threat of goal and big fines can be the result as it comes down to the individual not the RAAus to make sure you are current.

 

So i recommend that you check your renewal dates and do not rely on someone else to keep you legal. some never seem to have a problem but some do.

Ozzie, Sounds like there may be a recurring problem in your RAA personal file. Sure if you talked to one of the helpfull girls in the RAA office they could get it sorted for you, so it is not recurring. They have always been very helpfull to me in the past.

 

Could also be that they realize that you are a Shxxstirring, skydiving, Lazair flying, hangar party holding, living in the bush troublemaker, who has funny cartoon characters in his Aviat, and they don't want to have anything to do with you !?????..............which I can understand. Yeah! I have noticed several times in the past that there appears to be undoubtably some 'selectivity' in who gets even common courtesy let alone normal service.

 

Where is your next hangar party Oz and do you supply the Sheilas and grog?

yeah that has crossed my mind a few times.

 

i've exchanged a few emails with the ex executive over both the :0001 regos as well as the 'tomorrow the world' attitude that peeved off the other "sporting" bodies and the lighter end of our body. other subjects have been covered as well.

 

I was assured that this file problem was solved last year when it occurred. it's their reputation for being reliable not mine so why bother complaining.

 

some may think that i am a S*****stiring ect ect but i have learnt to stand up for myself and my mates who have been done wrong by those who have taken advantage of the trust that was given to them. Karma is a good thing, carefull, it may come in the form of a wipeout groundloop in front of your peers!!

 

Tony, some of the best "hanger" parties i have been to are not far from you at Toogoolawah.
