I think it is supposed to be suitable for the new formulated fuel mixes. I personally only use plastic clear line for my fuel qnty indicator line now. The rest is all rubber. I like to be able to get at it and feel if it's gone hard, then I'll change it.

Had it explaned to me once that something in the fuel sucks out a flexisizer from the plastic and makes it brittle eventually..............024_cool.gif.7a88a3168ebd868f5549631161e2b369.gif

whilst some flexible fluid line manufacturers use a colour to identify the different uses and pressure ratings it is advisable to identify the hoses use rating from the identifying letters and numbers that are printed along the hose.

If using hose for fuel. i would personally use a teflon lined braided stainless steel hose that can handle any type of fuel including ethanol, regardless of your fuel type you use. that way if ethanol fuel is inadvertantly used your fuel line is at least protected.

don't forget your fire shielding if it is under the cowl

Ozzie.
